Trip at a glance

This tour is for true car enthusiasts as within a three days you will be touring through mountain and country roads, and admiring Alpine peaks. You will enjoy the unparalleled atmosphere of Provence and Cote d'Azur and a breathtaking drive through Verdon Park and its famous canyon.

Day 1: Arrive Geneva / Limousine transfers to 5-star Hotel

Arrive Geneva Airport where you will be met and then transferred to the city by private limousine. Check into the 5 Star La Réserve Hotel. Enjoy hotel’s world class spa. After relaxing afternoon you will be met by your tour guide at the hotel’s restaurant at 19 PM, and over a welcome aperitive drink you will be walked through the itinerary for the next 4 days.

Overnight: 5-star hotel in Geneva: Le Beau Rivage Genève, Hotel & Spa La Réserve, Hotel Métropole

Day 2: Tour south through the French Alps to Chambery (280 KM / 5 hrs plus stops)

The following morning the car will be delivered to the hotel, and after a breifing and walkthrough, you will be on your way. The tour will begin with a scenic stretch along the shores of Lake Geneva to the resort of Evian Les Bains, where you canl stop for a morning coffee. After the break, you head immediately into the Alps behind the lake, driving two beautiful mountain passes, before a run over the beautiful Col de la Colmobière and down to Lake Annecy for late lunch. After lunch, you continue south to the outskirts of Chambery, where you will be based for the evening in the 5 Star Château de Candie, a historic 14th-century château set in the French countryside. Dine that evening in the hotel’s Orangerie restaurant, the imaginative gourmet cuisine of Bruno Locatelli chef.

Day 3: Continue South through the western Alps to Provence (320 KM / 5 hrs plus stops)

You will continue south with a run through two spectacular national parcs, Parc du Chartreuse, where you will stop for morning coffees, and Parc du Vercors, where you will run through the iconic Combe Laval and take lunch. This day of touring includes some of the most scenic and isolated passes in the western French Alps. The tour is completed with a run down past the city of Avignon, and into the heart of the beautiful Provence region, where you will be based for the third evening at the Château des Alpilles. That evening we recommend a wine tasting of wines from the region in the hotel’s beautiful gardens, then later dine at the hotels gourmet restaurant.

Day 4: Tour through Provence to Monte Carlo (250 KM / 5 hrs plus stops)

Features a run through some of the most scenic stretches of the Provence countryside. The Romans left some of their most imposing monuments in this region, and you past by several spectacular viaducts and cathedrals. Lunch will be taken in the rolling hills of Provence, before making your way south east towards the coast. You will arrive on the coast at the jet set resort of Saint Tropez, where you will take afternoon teas, before completing the tour to Monte Carlo along the coast.
