Lake Geneva & Swiss Alps

Day 1: Visit of Geneva

Arrive Geneva Airport, you will be met by your chauffeur and then transferred to the city by private limousine. Check into your 5-star hotel. Explore Geneve the rest of the day.

Day 2: Jura and Lavaux regions (250 km / 5 hrs plus stops)

A car of your choice will be delivered to the InterContinental Genève Hotel. After the individual car introduction and itinerary walk-through with your Tour Designer, you will be ready to depart for your driving tour. 

We will take you on a lonely winding forest road rising up to the Jura’s highest  point at 1500m above sea level. Look forward breathtaking views of Lac Léman, Mont Blanc and Geneva from the mountain top. As this is a truly fun road we will do two loops, changing the drivers on the top and at the bottom of the mountain. 

You will experience the best Jura mountain pass driving from the canton of Vaud to the Valley de Joux also known as the “luxury watch maker valley”, home to many top luxury brands. The road itself is a driver’s paradise: technical winding road, low traffic and magnificent sceneries… After this technical section and relaxing drive along the Joux lake we will have a short stop in a small village located at the lakeside. 

The next part will take you back to the canton of Vaud and Lake Geneva. The first run goes through another great mountain pass full of twisty roads. Afterwards, you will be passing plenty of small villages while driving on typical Swiss country roads before joining the highway and continuing to Chexbres for lunch.

Enjoy lunch at the panoramic restaurant restaurant overlooking Geneva Lake, Lavaux and Haute Savoie Alps. 

Discover the famous UNESCO heritage site - Lavaux. You will drive slowly through this area because your eyes will be impressed by breathtaking sceneries: cascading vineyards descending towards Lac Léman dotted with 11th century villages and the Haute Savoie Alps just on the horizon. Drive back towards Geneva. Stop in Nyon and take a walk through the historical city centre without missing Nyon's 13th century Castle. Return back to your hotel in Geneva.

Day 3 : Swiss Alps (350 km / 5 hrs plus stops)

Go back on the main A1 highway and drive directly to Gruyères for a village visit and traditional Swiss lunch. Gruyères stands in the midst of the Fribourg green pre-Alpine foothills. The castle, one of the most prestigious in Switzerland, towers majestically above the medieval town where you will enjoy a delicious lunch the Saint-Georges, a local must-do. The tour of the castle offers a walk through eight centuries of architecture, history and culture. 

After lunch you will be heading into the Bernese Oberland. Your next destination is the Jaun Pass, one of the most beautiful Alpine passes in the region with its stunning surrounding views (on a clear day you can see as far south as the Matterhorn in the distance). The Jaun Pass leads you into the Simmental Valley on relaxing sweeping roads until Gstaad, your next stop of a day. 

After the visit to Gstaad, sit back behind your steering wheel and continue driving through some other other gorgeous Alpine passes. You will reach the highway in about one hour and in 30 more minutes you will be at the Château de Chillon, an iconic 11th century Castle. This is a "must visit" place. Your next stop is “the capital city of Swiss Riviera” - Montreux. The town of Montreux is nestled in a sheltered bay of Lake Geneva, surrounded by vineyards and against the breathtaking backdrop of the snow-covered Alps. The famous Montreux Jazz Festival takes place in June/July and features concerts on a variety of stages and parks for visitors to enjoy. 

Your last stop of a day is Vevey. Vevey is one of the “Pearls of the Swiss Riviera”. Its lakeside location, extraordinary views of the Alpine panorama, mild climate, vineyards and proud paddlewheel steamboats characterise this town. Vevey also became famous because Charlie Chaplin lived and died here. Return back to your hotel in Geneva.

Day 4: Departure from Geneva 

Your private Chauffeur will meet and greet you at the hotel and transfer you comfortably to Geneva airport in accordance to your flight schedule.
